Located 1/2 mile north of SR 520 at 401 Meade Ave., Cocoa Beach. (321) 783-7549. This is a historical landmark in Cocoa Beach, stretching 840 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, and features a wide array of restaurants, boutiques, and gift shops. Fishing is allowed on the pier, and rentals are available. The pier is also an excellent vantage point to view a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, and people watch.

TURTLE WATCH/NESTING
The Space Coast is the second largest Florida sea turtle nesting area in the world. These endangered creatures come to lay their eggs on the beaches May through October. It is illegal to disturb sea turtles or their nesting areas. You will see the nesting area roped off. Please do not touch or bother the nesting area in any way.
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER VISITORS COMPLEX

The KSC Visitors Complex is your gateway to space...check out where NASA prepares and launches the space shuttle. Among other exciting things to do and see, you can ride the all new "Shuttle Launch Experience," climb aboard a full-size shuttle replica, tour the launch area and the Apollo/Saturn V Center, see IMAX movies, walk among authentic vintage spacecraft, visit a hands-on intergallactic gallery, and view an art gallery.
MERRITT ISLAND NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1963 as an overlay of NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center. Consisting of 140,000 acres, the Refuge provides a wide variety of habitats: coastal dunes, saltwater estuaries and marshes, freshwater impoundments, scrub, pine flatwoods, and hardwood hammocks provide habitat for more than 1,500 species of plants and animals. Many recreational opportunities are offered at the Refuge. Bird and wildlife observation, a wildlife drive, manatee observation deck, fishing and hunting opportunities, and boating and paddling are examples of available activities. The Visitor Information Center located 4 miles east of Titusville, Florida, is a great place to start your visit.
